I'm not trying to be a smartass, but what are some other examples of the "tortured, closeted gay cop" trope? I just can't think of any other examples for it to be called a trope. Sure the "tortured, closested gay man" can be considered a trope, but I don't know of any other cops specifically.

Conway Twitty is NOT "second tier"

When the chase scene first started I thought to myself "maybe this will be the equivalent of the single take scene." I was (probably unfairly) disappointed. I haven't bought into this season, but I'll finish it because I'm a completionist.

Hell, in the 1st season I think Marty was more troubled and fucked up than Rust, just for the reason that Rust knew he was fucked up but Marty was in denial for most of the season.

Thank God someone else realized that neither sounded or looked anything like Elvis Presley.

"Vernon decides he’s had enough of the party, of watching his so-called
friend and financial manager Reggie snort coke and hit on women, but
then suddenly chooses to stay when a woman takes her top off and shakes
her breasts around. The nudity and objectification doesn’t really serve
any purpose. It doesn’t act as an

I was thinking the same thing today. I think the tracking shot is what really sold mostly everyone on Season 1.

Was I the only one who noticed a Lone Star Beer in the scene where Vince Vaughn walks in the bar? Nothing snooty.

So Cthulhu is totally showing up this season right?

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

I thought he sent Oberyn because Doran doesn't get around well because of his gout?

When he was eating Gideon, Gideon said something about him being a cannibal. Hannibal said it is only cannibalism if they're equals. I don't know how to align Hannibal eating people who he feels are below him and eating Will to express forgiveness though.

I thought those were pheasant bones.

There is a Lord Commander opening, and I could definitely see the Night's Watch electing the man who saved their ass at the Wall as Lord Commander, especially after Thorne's treason.

If Stannis is still alive, (and that's a big IF, I'm about 95% sure he's dead), I can totally seem him giving up the Iron Throne, taking the Black and turning his attention to "the enemy I was born to fight", "the ancienty enemy. The only enemy that matters."

Ben came back but was "changed"? You mean Sayid? I do kind of wish Sayid either never "died" or was never resurrected because I loved when Locke was shown to be the Man In Black and that Ben was right when he said "Dead is dead." But next season Sayid disproved all that.

*Frey hanging psycho.

The thing is, they still had Roose Bolton, who is much closer to the pragmatic Tywin and his psycho son Ramsay. I would've definitely enjoyed seeing more Roose this season trying (and failing) to keep a hold on the North and keep his psycho son in line.

I never saw it that way. I saw the Faith of the Seven to be closer to Christianity than the others, since technically the Faith of the Seven don't really believe in 7 gods but in 1 god in 7 forms like how Christianity has 1 god that takes form in the trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.

Especially after "The Watchers on the Wall" and the episode where Jon made Thorne First Ranger. It seemed like they both had begrudgingly developed a mutual respect for each other. I feel like it would have been a stronger story choice for Thorne, even though he didn't like Jon, to execute those who stabbed him.
