This episode truly was "The End Times for Dewey Crowe".
I've recently caught up with this show by burning through the last 3rd of Season 2 and then watching Season 3 week to week, just because I love Sherlock and Watson. But the cases of the week are getting exceedingly tiresome. Just about the only good ones were the elevator murder and the AI case (which would've been…
But just for good measure, he started a war with the IRA just before he killed himself, just so he could fuck up Charming and the SOA one last time.
I don't think that's the only reason. Deep down, Jack knew The Island was their destiny. It wasn't just about helping the ones who left, it was about fixing himself too.
I'd go: "Live Together, Die Alone" > "Through the Looking Glass" > "The End" > "The Incident" > "There's No Place Like Home" > "Exodus"
This is probably my favorite episode of the series. The flashback where it shows that Locke and Desmond saved each other from their suicidal states, so that Desmond could save everyone by activating the failsafe, I still get chills thinking about it. Incredible episode. I just finished Season 2 on my rewatch a few…
Well, we did trade for Bergdahl, so I don't think that trade was entirely out of the realm of possibility.
I agree. I had actually been starting to like Lockhart. He seemed like a competent authority figure who actually cared about doing his job, vs last season where he just seemed to be "the Man" that our characters were in conflict with all the time.
They took a page out of Bane's playbook.
"Haqqani looks like a right-wing cartoonist’s vision of a terrorist"
Yeah, I meant Tig.
Yeah, I meant Tig instead of Chibs.
I don't understand why every older male is obsessed with her: Tig (at one point), Clay, Unser, Chucky, Nero. I can't fucking stand Gemma.
How can Saul scenes put you to sleep? He's Saul! He's the reason I even still watch this show.
Bruce Wayne getting back with no money was one of the least problems I had with the film. He was already a world traveler/drifter with little to no money before Batman Begins.
Woodbury is also a real town in GA. It's about 50-60 miles south of Atlanta (I'm not sure if there is actually a prison near it.) Macon is another 60 or so miles east of Woodbury. I'm surprised Terminus is Macon in the show, because Terminus was the original name of Atlanta in real life.
Season 2 might actually be my favorite season because I. freaking. love. the Hatch. The button, the numbers, the Orientation film, the invisible map, HENRY GALE. Everything that happened in the Hatch was magical. Live Together, Die Alone is probably my favorite episode of the series. I'm currently on my first rewatch…
I thought I read somewhere that a lot of Eko's story was given to Locke as a cog in the Man in Black's plan. I also remember reading that Eko was supposed to also play more of a foil to Locke as well.
I disagree. Season 4 is the best paced and tightest (not really best) season because of the Writer's Strike.
