The AV Club will do anything to keep Joss Whedon in their rogue’s gallery of villains. (Is he their Bad Horse)?

Well, his ex-wife said he cheated on her. And everyone knows disgruntled exes are wholly reliable sources.
He potentially had relations with a female cast member. A deed no other director and showrunner in Hollywood has done.
And he may have had sex with groupies. An unheard of thing, that would get any actor,

Actually, you both are wrong. GameStop was already declining before this, and this will hasten its decline when these people ultimately short sell the stock into the ground which will be the final coup de grace to the company which some gamers, slacktivists, pranksters, and trolls on Reddit are now accerlerating in on

LMAO, buying a share in a business that you think will be successful is greedy, okay bro.

You’re not right here. Investors are taking money they have earned and making a decision of which company or fund (to simplify things) to invest in. The money invested in a company (either long or short) can impact that company’s ability to raise cash and run their business. In some cases, investors choose riskier

Yea this is a good point. There’s an excellent docuseries on Netflix called Dirty Money that has an episode told from the perspective of short sellers who took down a fraudulent biotech company (Valeant).

I think you missed the point of the Big Short. The guys who shorted the real estate market thought they’d provoke a rational market response, with the people who were buying the bundled toxic real estate debt realizing (as the short-sellers had) that the market was overvalued, and revising their valuations

Barsanti doesn’t seem to have a firm grasp of investing, nor does he understand what’s happening here. He seems to think it’s all an elaborate prank on the short sellers when in fact all these naive kids were paying almost $160 a share at one point today for something that closed at $76 and, by all rights, isn’t likely

For a moment, let’s just completely disregard the poorly vetted and edited Cliffnotes version of what short selling is, who does it and what their vague motivations may be behind it as presented here. ETA: it is bad for GameStop because this could end with shares in a freefall, kicking off a hastily sped-up bankruptcy

Do you actually believe short selling is “greedy”? Is that your actual position or just one for the sake of snark. Because it isn’t Shorting a stock is not greedy. However, one could certainly make the argument that certain investors on Reddit have pumped and dumped this stock. Which you appear to helping them do.

And this is most definitely the time to talk about that! Well done!

It doesn’t help your argument, the one where lawdog used the word wrong but you use it right, by Jove!, to note that there are multiple meanings. So I discounted it. I think you forgot the point you’re arguing. What else ya got? We’re tenacious, you an’ me, eh?

THERE’S the recognitions I know.

yeah.

That’s not what YOU think it means.  I suspect it's because you use it and consider yourself a paragon of virtue.

I would say that no one would be thrilled to be called an “incel”. Being hit with the word qualifies as a slur. A slur being derogatory or insulting.

I would like to see this extended to the ‘Hey, somebody said something on Twitter’ Stories as well.

Good grief, I think my cholesterol shot up by 25 points after reading this post because of how salty it was.

Both you and Shia LaBeouf can go fuck yourselves.

I have a feeling the biggest scandal to come out of JL will be Fisher’s NDA, which somehow doesn’t stop him from publicly disparaging people he worked with and for on the project, but does absolutely prevent him from publicly supporting his accusations with facts or details.
