I feel like this game could easily be a Yes, it really depends on what you want out of the experience. If you go into it just wanting a world to have fun and a variety of things to explore, you can have fun and I'd recommend checking it out.

Some of the older games might remember the Escape Velocity series that was published by Ambrosia Software, back when they produced games exclusively. This looks like it could be a spiritual successor to those games!
