Okay, so I get that this is Jezebel, so at the risk of the being subjected to the flame, I genuinely ask/state: I don’t understand your point, and am curious as to why you think the painting salacious and why you believe an identity is crucial to the model?

It’s for the same reason you should cook lasagna the day before, fridge it, and then reheat it for the meal — it gives all of the flavours a chance to meld. Same technique can/should be used for salsa, bruschetta, a lot of soups (like cioppino base), etc.!
