Except that’s not what happened. Those celebrities were idiots who didn’t use two factor authentication. Their accounts weren’t “hacked”. Their passwords were randomly guessed through a phishing program. That’s exactly what two factor auth is designed to prevent. If you choose not to use it, that’s your fault.

So, you have proof they are, or is this just another, “I don’t like Apple, so of course they’re lying”.

So you think Apple, a company that makes zilch off of data, is lying about how your data is used, but Google, a company that makes almost 100% of its revenue from data, is telling you the truth that their photos app is not going to monetize your personal photos?

If you have a simple password and no two factor auth enabled, anyone can get into your accounts. iCloud wasn’t hacked, and your bank has probably been hacked more times than Apple has.
