Wait do we have the same cousin?

This is truly bizarre. Like you, I immediately thought, didn’t they check Bollywood?

But finding a male lead in his 20s who can act and sing has proven difficult — especially since the studio wants someone of Middle-Eastern or Indian descent

Okay, Casey. Thanks.

As a recovered alcoholic I can say please get medical help if you stop drinking. I had to be hospitalized three days before going to rehab to prevent this. Don’t be ashamed, and don’t think you can automatically do it on your own.

Well, the CDC has a point. Tobacco companies are sneaky bastards and will do anything to hook that all important youth market if there aren’t laws in place telling them they can’t do certain things. This is mostly an issue in low and middle income countries where they use bright packaging and sponsor basically all

It’s to make a weirdly cropped (or vertical phone shot) photo fit in a pre-determined rectangular size. It’s less a trend and more of a graphic design solution.

Anyone here besides me old enough to remember when and why Nightline started airing?

Allison Williams and her husband look like twins, they even have the same smile. So creepy.

Chyna told her side of the story in a snippet on GMA this morning,

Trying to think of a context in which “do you know who I am?” would be appropriate and I’m hard pressed. Maybe when your spouse just wakes up from a ten year coma?

same. I was like, “that’s a really odd endorsement deal”.

1) I am unable to keep up with rapper names and genuinely thought Ferrari in question was the Italian car maker, so trying to parse what I was reading was... Difficult at the beginning.

Aw, she sounds lovely. The cat rescue I got my cat from were really similar - told me flat out that she hated other cats, and had her fostered out to a place where she could live on her own until she was adopted.

I mean, advocating for adoption over buying a pet is exactly the point of an “adoption advocate,” is it not?

Aww, this lady and her rescue group sound amazing! There’s a rescue farm here in town run by my vet, and she does all of the things you’ve described. Very up-front about what will work for the pet, and what won’t.

We’ve adopted all our dogs out of shelters and it’s been my experience that they shade the truth, so caveat emptor. I would not have done anything different, we’ve loved them all. Our current one’s birthdate is known, but at the shelter they said his maximum weight should be about 60 pounds. (We got him as a puppy.)

Agreed with the first paragraph of your comment, but not your second. Not all shelter dogs have unknown pasts! Many of the shelters I’ve seen detail the history of the pet, and will straight up say that the dog isn’t a good fit for homes with other dogs/cats/children.

I agree with so much of what you said, especially rescues downplaying issues in the animals. I adopt my animals (dogs and cats) and volunteer with a dog rescue. Many people in that world mean well but are out of touch with reality. Some dogs have aggression issues that no matter how much money (trainers) and love you

end up dating a barley legal model.
