I’ll miss hearing him pronounce “Aviato”

Seeing subtle cracks in the ostensibly invulnerable exterior of Gilfoyle, or watching Dinesh slip easily into the role of shallow CEO for a week, or snitching on his hacker gf to the FBI, or Jared melting down and losing his shit, these are the reasons why I watch the show and find it entertaining. The ‘side’ arcs are…
It’s “champing at the bit,” not chomping. Sorry ... one of my many idiomatic pet peeves.
I freaking love every actor on the show. That’s why I’ve hung onto it. Like watching The League, I really don’t care about the premise of the show. I just want the funny interactions of the main characters.
This was a fantastic scene! I think they Middleditch and Woods are great in their scenes together, because they are both improv kings.
“My grandmother gave me a family recipe before she died in a horrible way.”
bachman vs. yang has been an amazing subplot.
it’s supposed to give you anxiety, it’s being run by a bunch of people with social anxiety in incredibly high-stress situations.
But I think there’s plenty of material for them left to mine if Pied Piper actually makes it. Even wildly successful tech companies can be run very poorly (i.e. Uber), and that could be comedy gold!
I’m REALLY glad TJ Miller is leaving Silicon Valley. Erlich has had some funny moments, but he’s become so one-note that I get annoyed any time he comes on screen. And it frustrates me to no end that basically the only times we’ve seen Monica and Laurie this season have been with Erlich— they deserve so much better…
This is how I feel about the Nerdist podcast a lot of the time. He does mostly good interviews and gets a lot of good stories from his guests, but sometimes I really wish Chris Hardwick would talk less.
Wow. He FLOUNCED.
We all know what would happen if an actress said all that: look at Katherine Heigl, and she only said a fraction of this nonsense. PS I seriously have no idea who this guy is, I’ve never watched SV.
Sadly, you’re being too optimist: the kind of Americans who need the most to read 1984 are the same ones who would read it and say “Thanks God Republicans protect us from this kind of Communism”...
Melanie lynskey is amazing as is the woman who played Sophia’s best friend
Those were funny and well-executed.
Didn’t watch Girlboss, but hopefully this frees up some funds for another five seasons of GLOW. It came out on Friday, which means y’all are already two days late in watching and basking in its neon glory.
The only parts of that show that I liked were the chatroom scenes.
I’ve also seen her in some stuff and she was fine! I think this was just bad directing and writing.
I actually liked the show, but it absolutely did not need multiple seasons. It would have been just fine as a Netflix movie. I was actually hoping it would be canceled and when they canceled Sense8 I was like... can’t they just cancel Girlboss instead?
