You’re right, a feature-length movie would have been fine with this one. And how does girlboss get made into a show, but the delightfully sweet Girl Walks into A Bar by Rachel Dratch doesn’t? That book would make a great limited series or movie.

Show of hands: who of us remembers watching G.L.O.W. in the 80's? Can’t wait to catch this one.

That was actually a bright spot for this show.

I had to look up the lead actress because she was familiar but her performance was so annoying. Turns out I had seen her in the Sparks flick “The Longest Ride.” (Don’t judge me, I watch a lot of TV and movies in the backround while I’m working late nights, even Nicholas Sparks movies). I had liked her in that! It may

Yeah, this show was terrible.

Also I love Grace’s wardrobe. I want to dress like that! Everything looks like cashmere.

But what about how our noses also keep growing?

And she looks fantastic (though I bet with her bone structure she would have looked fantastic even if she didn’t have plastic surgery). I’m half her age and really want one of her wigs.

No idea! When I did a google to see if I imagined it, there was a Chicago Tribune article saying it wouldn’t help. I don’t know. I did see my kid’s teammate take a baseball to the head at a recent game and all of us were pretty worried about him. Thankfully 9-year-olds throw about as badly as they catch.

She always does that, and I’ve come to enjoy it! You do you, Tall Haim.

I recently saw something about a campaign to get kids in little league to wear chest protectors for this reason.

Also McDonald’s is the best when you are on your last day in a country and just DONE. Like, there’s not really enough time to see or do anything, and you just want something familiar before you head to the airport. After traveling for 2 weeks throughout Portugal, my new spouse and I were exhausted and decided to just

Don’t forget the baby shower/birthday crowd. The time I went had multiple parties of different shower/party groups with balloons in the waiting area.

Exactly. But I also want more than 5 things to choose from. It seems like every restaurant I go to now has the same 5 things: sort of fried chicken and pickles dish, a bison or elk burger, a pork dish that doesn’t sound great, a beef dish with an unusual cut of meat (oooh oxtail! exotic), and fish tacos.

We received a gift card to the Cheesecake Factory for Christmas one year. I had been once or twice a long time ago, just for dessert. Going for a full meal was something else. The place was packed and way bigger inside than the exterior looked. I couldn’t believe how crowded it was. The dinner servings were also

Ugh, Sally Field is perfection in that scene.

THat’s the first I’ve heard of that comparison. I heard a lot of Fleetwood Mac comparisons with their style, but that’s a good thing.

Um, I love that trivia. Thank you.

Also, when Brad Pitt is in the cast, how often is the MAIN focus? Even in movies where he’s obviously the lead, there seems to be enough focus on the story and ensemble that he’s not the main focus. It seems like he learned a lesson with “Troy” and avoided doing something like that ever again. Every Tom Cruise movie

He looks like Tig Notaro on that promotional poster.
