Nobody is making any huge claims about the city as a whole other than you. Again, thriving isn’t a good word but dying isn’t either. And you’re big on the dying and denying anything anywhere has changed.

Nobody is saying “Detroit is really nice now.” They’re saying downtown is nice, which it is, and that that has largely spread to midtown, which it has. This story is about the downtown/midtown edge, so it’s relevant.

Give it a few years. As a born and raised Detroiter, it’s turning around. This shit does not happen over night.

Gee, I wonder what the fuck was going on in Detroit in 2010 and how 7 years later it might be drastically different, you fuckhead. I FUCKING WONDER.

It’s not a dying city, it’s actually thriving right now.

All they had to do is make the spear into a hockey stick and it would have been fine.

The Giant Red Wing symbol would have been awesome, given that the Pistons are now going to be playing there as well (was that ever really in question) it would be a little off-brand.

Kris Draper’s kid can answer the “dropped a deuce in the bowl” question. (In the affirmative.)

That photo is fake. The Stanley Cup is never in Toronto.

It’s actually worth a google search. That Cup has seen some things.

And in 2070 going to an NHL game will be the only way to see any surface frozen!

This story about Basil Pocklington on the Cup, is one of the many, many reasons, that makes hockey’s trophy far superior to all other trophies. (#1 is it is given to the players who earned it first, rather than the owners who did nothing but sign checks.)

While you’re here, would you know why someone (me) would never have had any reaction to mosquito bites ? ( and pyschological detail: I never developped the seemingly pavlovian reaction of trying to crush the mosqito when I hear one)

He bounced a players head off the ice several times and the ref literally did nothing to stop him. He didnt even properly check to make sure that he wasnt doing anything worse. He literally could have plucked both of subbans eyes out and the ref wouldnt have been able to do anything. Dont defend a guy when he is

So, um, I don’t think that permanent brain damage should be the price for playing a sport? Even if it traditionally has been? But that’s apparently a hot take still.

Penguins fans: Sid is a target! He gets roughed up all the time and has to defend himself, what with the history of concussions and all...

Also Penguins fans: Fuck yeah! Smash Subban’s head into the ice!

He would deflate them if he could.

Bradley is obvously a Pens fan. They don’t realize they cheer for the New England Patriots of hockey and Crosby is their Brady.

Unless Millbury is talking about him.

“Rubbed?”
