It disturbs me that a question like this has to be asked in this day. Do children belong to the state now? It's completely absurd to consider it illegal. It's the parent's child. Not the school's or government's. This subject in general feels like it is treading on dangerous grounds of government overstepping its

No, I mean that sometimes I can't schedule my family's life around the school breaks. And sometimes my kids have breaks at different times.

As a parent who's only lived in places where taking kids out of school for vacation is fine, I can't believe this is even a thing.

They're in the process of rolling out more 700mhz spectrum which will really improve their indoor service. Also they now fully support wifi calling/texting which helps in a lot of indoor situations (but not all)

5GB at LTE speeds. Then you're dropped to 2G speeds. You dont get charged more....

I have the same plan and will not give it up until they pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

This is good if you actually call and text, but I'll just stick with their 30$/ month, 5GB of high speed data, 100 min and ulimited text. I use Google hangouts for my voice and text so its all good anyways.

8 Mbps throttled? Shoot, give me a $30/month plan and throttle me from day one.

It costs £2.99 for a charger. It's not a big deal.

The most offensive part of all this is that it's powered by a Proprietary Plug instead of just USB. If it was just USB it'd make sense, but it's not. It's some crap you have to buy from Nintendo for $12-25 depending on where you live and it's a part that costs them probably less than $2 to manufacture. It's not a cost

I dont like what she has done, but the "poor taxpayers" argument often annoys me. We are paying lots more taxes for things which are *seriously* awful.

That's one way to look at it. But do you really think you're going to change PA people? Do you think that the PA are LESS "douchebag-ish" than people that just decide not to put up with their shit?

Removing toxic people from your life is not being a douchebag.

Haha! I thought of you, Jason, the second I saw it on the screen. Nintendo has your number.

Explaining how to do something illegal (or, in this case, not really illegal) is fine as long as you don't encourage or persuade people to do it.

How would you know what your significant other would get over in 15 minutes or less?
Did they sit there with a timer? I appreciate what the method wants to achieve, but the whole 15 minute thing seems silly.

A lovely sentiment in theory but hardly useful in practice. This idea is asking people to maintain an emotional check while in potentially heated, emotionally unbalanced situations. It's also putting the burden of 'what can be said' on the opposite partner.

If you do this, you my friend, are an asshole.
