While I agree the best antivirus is good common sense, I think it's fair to say we all have bonehead moments from time to time. Given the limited financial and processing (on modern computers) cost that MSE is, I don't know how anybody can justify not running it, if only as a fail safe.

Big fan of V-Moda's line of ear buds. Great sound and very comfortable.

I installed Google Chrome a few years ago on OS X, so they may have changed it, but I don't ever remember the Ask Toolbar being accompanied with the install. Did you get the download link directly from Google?

Like the 360?

I second the use of Google Calendar. While I don't need it to remind me to go to class, I do copy all of the relevant information from my class schedule to it, such as the room number, course description, professors name, number of credits drop dates, etc. That way if I need to remember something, it's only a few

Is this the Android version of Google Maps or the iPhone version you've had constant issues with? In my three years of using Google Maps (Android version) I can only think of a few times where businesses were marked wrong (one was a casino that had moved and the other was a quarter mile down the road), and I use the

I don't see how this is silly at all. The man is President of the United States and she clearly states "Whatever your political leanings, we can all learn a lot from the way President Obama juggles his work and days.". I'm sure if someone did an article of how Ron Paul managed his days of being ignored by the GOP,

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing...

Just this weekend I was actually looking for a simple solution to elevate my cable modem from my router (for better ventilation), and this should work perfect!

I was actually wondering yesterday whether something like this was available for Android. I now have a use for the two old OG Droids I have.

"Very useful add-on, especially now that Apple removed the 'time left' in the battery status icon in the manu bar of Mountain Lion."

While you might get faster service in the evening, do you really want a medical professional that has been in the office all day? I feel you might be more likely to get the rush treatment.

This is a great idea. I also use photocopiers to map out screw locations on things with a lot of varying screw sizes. This works great with laptops, as you can photocopy the bottom of the laptop, tape the screws to their proper location as you remove them, and then reverse the process upon reassembly.

Cool, thanks for the info!

I've been thinking about doing this, but I want to stick with Android/Cyanogenmod. I don't really care if it's MetroPCS or Virgin, anyone have any experience with this? Any phones you can recommend that are good?

I used to use this trick when disassembling laptops, as it's especially useful when you need to keep the dexterity of your fingers.

Yeah, I think the business line isn't quite accurate as I could see it going either way, everything else is pretty spot on. After having my Macbook Air for about six months, I don't think I could go back to using a normal laptop, because of all the gesture based things I can accomplish with the trackpad. Not to

Ever since HP had that terrible motherboard problem a few years ago, I've shied away from them.

Does anyone know how this compares to Beyond Pod? I've been using it for a few years and it works well, though the interface is a little kludgy.
