Yes, built infrastructure needs more attention. 

I feel this focus on EVs is narrowing our thinking, and shifting our focus exclusively to cars instead of high speed rail. High speed rail is viable for distances under 600-odd miles, and many city pairs have enough population to justify spending on HSR infrastructure.

The submarine needs to be tested on poorer people first before the billionaires use it.

It has AWD, a high-voltage battery to support plug-in charging, plus all the electronics, thermal systems and high-voltage wiring harnesses to support that. The weight adds up due to powertrain complexity of a plug-in with AWD.

Pretty sure it is NOT the boom in skilled trades that is driving sales of these over-sized vehicles. 

Wonder if they will also open Level 2\3 EV charging for cars (or even class 6\7\8 trucks) at this location.

It is also driven by the tiered licensing system in certain countries such as the UK, where a beginner can only ride motorcycles under 35 kW\46.9 hp before graduating to higher-powered machines.

These bikes were developed as part of a non-equity partnership between Triumph and Bajaj (the latter owns KTM, which in turn owns Husqvarna). Expect more mid-displacement motorcycles from this partnership. 

Would be good in an EV guise.
