The Prince bit was obviously for the local connection Prince had to Minnesota. But don’t let context get in the way of your narrative.

Are their people who didn’t love Inglorious Bastards? Certainly no a fan of all his works, but that movie was phenomenal
“unlike the wardrobe malfunction of 2004, the nut in question will be prepped and ready for its primetime debut”
But that paragraph was really clunky so maybe he skipped it.
Time to do some more research so these damn comments stop flying over your head.
I think they mean that McMahon may give more control of WWE to Triple H if McMahon ends up spending more time on football. He’s the heir apparent for that, and a lot of fans enjoy the stuff he oversees (like their developmental roster) more than the stuff that Vince is focusing on.
Very interesting take until the Aziz part. Not relevant here and makes the entire point less coherent.
And guess what’s officially banned in tournaments - customization and leveling. In fact, the ability to turn them off for competitive play was one of the first things Ed Boon announced for the game.
huh? you’re just all over the place here. ‘mirror’ ? I don’t live in Alabama!! Also Roy Moore’s accusers are white. Not sure where you’re going with this...
Can you expand on that? Are women of colour more likely to have gotten apologies? That’s not a trend I’ve noticed, but the incidents are so fucking exhaustive (exhausting) that I might have missed it. Or are you saying something else?
This is exactly what I was looking for. Especially the bit about being a witness and protesting with “Do not monopolize the space but be present, so that those protesting can SEE allies. So that those people in riot gear can see faces that look like theirs.”
source??
So how does a white woman be a good ally? The linked articles suggest that white women need to keep their mouth shut on issues exclusive to POC, but nothing is really saying what I should be doing to help. I feel like just listening and learning about experiences and issues that I don’t personally face isn’t enough.…
oh yeah that was weird, denying only Lupita’s claim. But I don’t think anyone believed that... ditto Selma Hayek...
I’m saying that because I heard about some women pulling out and it was over abortion, not about some women not wanting to support WOC
very convincing argument
No links I clicked on really mentioned what this ‘array of issues’ was that made women leave the Women’s march last year. No links said anything about Lupita’s account not being believed. And I don’t know what the suggests for leaving ‘less people behind’ are based on that link she posted about abuse.
Um it literally does not say why they pulled out, it says some people “were declining to participate after the march refocused itself to include an array of issues experienced specifically by women of color. A selection of white women, it turned out, were feeling indicted by this and were considering staying home.”
Are we not taking linear time into account? Because the crime stats of interracial violence are pretty much the exact opposite of this picture in current year.
“we could still comfort ourselves with the reminder that we’re not as bad as white men”
