This. Before today, the only place you could hear about the Women's World Cup was on the TV channel that actually airs the tournament (which is basically the soccer network). After the win, everyone else has jumped on and wildly covering the Cup as though they've done so from the beginning.

Our high school class watched Super Size Me once. The only reaction I heard at the end was that everyone was now hungry for McDonald's.

I did like the fake comic strips the production crew placed around the Calvin & Hobbes strip, they looked quickly made, Comic Sans and all.

I'm going to guess the latter. Truman's perfect life in a perfect oasis does have an appeal with certain amounts of people, not to mention that the audience grew up with Truman so there might be some sort of parental attachment for many. Then again, maybe Christof saved the exciting stuff for sweeps.

My VHS copy of the first Harry Potter did have a couple of deleted scenes after the feature, even though one of the 'deleted' scenes was actually left intact in the movie.
