At worst he’ll resign from HPD and get a job with a neighboring city or sheriff’s office. Probably for more pay.

Some of us drive stick and can’t have both hands on the wheel 100% of the time. When I’m in traffic that requires stop/go and I’m frequently in and out of neutral I tend to drive with my left hand at 12 and my right hand ready to shift, putting it back on the wheel every 4 seconds is dumb.

Both cops will probably resign. Then, they’ll work in a neighboring jurisdiction with a termination hanging over their heads.

lol, no he wont

For those not checking the links this is the one where the cop wasn’t actually active in the chase and was headed to the chase or something like that.

These cops should have remained off the street until the investigation is completed. I don’t believe other known killers are given the chance to try again.

Nice! And a Kia Soul. I was a bit down on these cars until I got one as a rental. tl;dr they’re great. Honestly it’s a little better for a teenager than a SUV IMO

It was Granddad. But yeah, who knows. Maybe he’s just from another time when we used to trust people

Ripping off a disabled kid seems like the lowest form of scummery there could possibly be.  Excellent work by Frank Kent.

DOT needs to invest in drones.

Things to always keep in your car: snacks, blankets, toilet paper, water (when weather allows), medications (ibuprofen, Benadryl) coat, hat, gloves, rain gear, charging cables for phone, hand tools, first aid kit paper maps and other things based on space. be able to live using what is in your car for a day or two.

They’re too busy putting people in jail for going over the speed limit.

I’m very curious about these “torrid” conditions in the storm.  Merriam-Webster: “torrid: parched with heat, especially from the sun.”  Apparently, global warming is producing the hottest snowstorms ever seen.

Living in Virginia should already qualify as a type of hell, so...

Wondering what definition of the South you use that doesn’t include Virginia?
