An interesting possibility, is that closet centrists want to classify Sanders as ‘that nutcase’. So they write off the possibility that there are scared, low information voters who now think that the only candidate who is going to shake things up is Trump, and to whom Sanders could honestly provide a real alternative.
Like it or not, Fox News *has* credibility. Not a high bar to clear (i.e. being able to influence the hearts and minds of a segment of the population), but it's there.
It’s like they’re still litigating an election Bernie lost because they can’t get over the fact HRC ran a terrible GE campaign, should have won running away (both GE and Primary) but her hubris and those of her supporters got in the way. So, she got beat by a Cheeto who said more about Social Security and other…
You seem super mad that Bernie is doing so well. If they have 500k people who donated I’d be impressed and it’s not surprising that they have done as well as they have. People are more active politically than ever before. As a person who is Afro-Chicano, you making that reference about BW and Idris is a little…
It’s not as if Fox News couldn’t just run clips from some other speaking event/town hall, and attack him with that anyway. They’d probably cherry pick whatever they like and take it out of context as well. So go into the Lion’s Den, say what you’re going to say, and at the very least get their viewers to see your…
It’s amazing how much irrational hate Bernie generates from a certain type.
More than 500,000 people who just donated to him for the first time probably disagree and that is more of a barometer of his huge swath of support than someone’s opinion with no backing links/references commenting on Splinter.
The difference with Bernie, he can be moved left. Other candidates seem to waffle when they do. Also, Bernie has a history of over 40 years of working for left of center politics. This isn’t a cult of personality, he’s a dude who is about policies that help the public. He has flaws but hands down has the best policies…
It’s a joke to trigger centrists, looks like it worked. Lol
What House leadership are trying to avoid, is overplaying their hand. Careful, deliberative processes avoid the whole ‘rush to judgement’ meme that plays so well with the Republican base right now. Frankly, I think they are doing as well as can be expected, given the circumstances.
The House Judiciary Committee voted along party lines on Wednesday to authorize the issuing of subpoenas to obtain…
Maybe they should just create a United States of Mexico? Seems way easier to keep track of.
Dude looks like a complete slob, so naturally he fits right in in the open sewer that is the white house.
And, to round off his appearance, Gidley twice referred to Puerto Rico—which, again, has been a part of the U.S. for over a century— as “that country.”
Not to be confused with Bill or Jack or Pete or Dennis.
Waiting to hear all the Smart, Serious Centrists around here explain to all of us blogchildren how seeking ways to make what their constituents want, need, and deserve is actually a Very Good Thing on the part of these corporate Democrats.
Sheesh. This guy’s name is mud now.
