It seems to me like these truck owners are reacting emotionally to a social situation, which is the same thing that they criticize other people for. While Tesla owners currently own the gold standard of miles-per-smug, this feels like an emotional backlash to try and knock them down a peg.

1980 Japanese dirt/street/trail bikes were absolutely incredible in the era. Especially when they all went to the monoshock rear.
I suspect it has to do with the combustion chamber. Those other bikes have all gone through various upgrades through the years. The KLR has a fairly tall and high volume combustion chamber, which can have problems meeting emissions. It has a single exhaust port and intake port even though it has four valves, and the…
