It’s not manipulated BS so much as the scales are exaggerated. But the underlying message is correct - over decades, the rich have gotten richer and wage stagnation has been prevalent among the middle class. All the productivity gains and increased wealth is not going to blue collar workers, nor is it “trickling down”…

Unions need to get back to the policies of their origins, and recruit from the whole working class, rather than just keep going on this road to irrelevance, by cherry-picking membership from whatever is left of the rapidly disappearing volume of manufacturing jobs out there.
