Most of the airlines were hoping to run out the string, but have found that there are limits to the inconveniences and poor treatment that pilots and flight attendants will endure.

I’m a big guy. Been lifting weights all my life. 6'2", 230 or so, 50" chest and th shoulders that come with those dimensions. My boys are similarly big, and most of my friends are big. Long legs, too. So, any car I buy has to firstly fit me - there’s nothing more frustrating than looking for cars that are actually…
Anyone, and I count myself among them, who purchases a vintage Italian or English car must be a little financially masochistic, or very flexible with their weekend drive plans.
I assume you’ve been to a NASCAR race before, which means you know that the only way to send NASCAR back 20 years would be to send it to the 1930's. I’ve been to races all over the country since the early 1990s, and I’m never going to pretend that the NASCAR community and fans are egalitarians. Larson’s remark was…
It all depends on your expectations. The “fun” of this car is the quiet, comfortable ride - you can drive these things for hundreds of miles at a stretch with no discomfort whatsoever. Now, if you like to weave through traffic, speed around curves, really feel the road as you drive, then this is not your car.
I’d wager Americans unable to process the idea that the Federal Government is the government would go nuts when they saw the degree of difficulty in obtaining a license in any Nordic or European country, including the UK. They’d similarly go nuts once they encountered enforcement.
You don’t think Tesla customer service should have been able to provide him with that solution? I sure do.
Unless they have on-board emergency power, or unless your utility is capable of avoiding any and all outages, I’m just not a fan. Let’s not forget the people who are forever running their phones down. There are analog solutions that will meet the needs of most homeowners or home renters - push-button combination…
Lincoln Town Car. Honda Element. Toyota FJ.
sold.
The Cadillac Cimarron was to pieces of shit what a World Series Winner is in baseball - a car that fought through a tough field to take the big prize. I don’t think there are enough superlatives to describe just how shitty every single badge of that car was, but the Caddy guys really brought it home.
Reasonable. I’m a sucker for a hauler in relatively good condition.
I think we need to separate the normative from reality. Anyone who posts photos anywhere knows that, copyright be damned, those photos are easily duplicated and distributed. If the sole bar for access to one’s photos is a paywall, one has to be more than a little dense to think that the paywall is protective.
For very good reasons!
I made the Jaguar mistake once. Once. “Oh, I’m not going to drive it enough for anything serious to happen.”
This is the masochist’s car of choice. It is the car one buys when one feels insufficiently depressed or too financially secure. If one never actually needs to to go anywhere, this is your vehicle. Should one be seeking an immersive education in public transit usage, buy this car. If you enjoy reading by the dashboard…
You have to remember, these are the same people who want you to tell your daughter who has been raped that her pregnancy is a “gift from God”.
Just never did it for me. Says something about predisposed prejudiced, I supposed.
Any Duesenberg, but especially the Aerocoupe and the J coupe.
Thanks for reminding me how catastrophically ugly Stanzas were, all models.
