I think they pretty clearly communicate that his feelings were hurt throughout the episode. In a way, he’s MORE rounded than the white kids, because he stepped out of solely nerdy pursuits to play a team sport.

First time in my life I haven’t been happy to see to continued presence of mourning wood.
No, it’s not even close. The US is not adding net people to the population. So, a US citizen having kids doesn’t move the world needle. Plastics, on the other hand, can only increase with consumption and production, not just because the world lacks the technology and infrastructure to recycle, but by the very nature…
The population problem is flattening and is expected to halt or decline by 2100. The growth will largely be in Africa and Asia. Europe and South America will be in decline. So, a US or Canadian person having 3-4 kids isn’t really going to move the needle in the face of statistical trend.
It’s ridiculous to claim that there isn’t Black homophobia. The very fact that you claim that “...he’s being used against his own people...”, really? Who’s using him? White LGBTQ people? C’mon - what stake do they have in him being nominated for anything?
I had to read that twice. Good handle, btw, I’ve had three.
There’s nothing “vital” about your point. It’s not selfish to have kids any more than it’s selfish to not have kids. I think it’s responsible to not have more kids than one can support.
Given the relative quality of 1980's Maserati, one can reasonably posit that the low mileage is a function of downtime, not conservatorship. I mean, I’d still buy the thing for the summer.
I’m relatively certain you’d take steps if animals threatened your housing situation; beavers dams can destroy all kinds of stuff - houses, farmland, equipment, sanitary water supply, etc. Beavers are just beavers, they are fine with relocating if they can remain undisturbed.
It’s almost like 15 years ago might has well have been another eon. In terms of trans- acceptance, it was.
I’m in. I will sacrifice some couch time to this show.
This car couldn’t be more German.
My legs, hip to knee, put my ass in a seat and my knee against the tray. My feet occupy the space under the seat in front of me. In the vast majority of situations, most passengers do not put things under their own seat (partially a function of design, the guard under the seat that prevents items from sliding forward…
This is a tough case, in part because IPV (Intimate partner violence) is rarely seen as a joint effort. Both Heard and Depp have behavioral issues, no doubt; what damaged Heard is her utter inability to be consistent. She contradicted her testimony in other cases (which may expose her to additional legal problems),…
I think you missed the part where I indicated that I book those whenever possible. However, I often travel with a day’s notice; in those cases, larger seats are often unavailable.
If you’re crazy about old Jeeps, have either no or an understanding spouse, an unused garage that you can occupy for a couple of years, and a bunch of disposable income, this might be for you. Or not.
Volkswagen Minibus. Slow, Jesus, so slow, especially uphill. Reliable as a crackhead accountant. If you want to immerse yourself in a remote place, this car is going to give you a (n involuntary) chance.
Women get cramps. Women play sports. If women can’t perform due to cramps, saying so isn’t inaccurate. The entirety of women’s tennis doesn’t cycle together, so this is always going to be a thing. If you want the conversation normalized, then “menstrual issues” are likely going to be a more frequent topic. Men are no…
Apparently, you’ve never worked for anyone with a Napoleon complex...
As I mentioned, I book those seats whenever possible. Also, I bought a smaller bag so my stuff takes up a one bag footprint in the overhead. I’m not a selfish asshole for having the minimum expectation that I fit in a regular seat, which I had done for years until around 2014 or so.
