I sold my switch as soon as someone let me try out the oculus rift.... Switch is a great system, but VR is a complete game changer. Got an oculus used on kijiji for 450 , and never looked back.   

On a console.... yes... most are upscaled to 4k to maintain a decent frame rate.. even a 1080ti (over a 1000 just for the card) is unable to achieve 4k on all titles... I’d say another 2 to 3 years before we get that kind of power being thrown into a console with any reasonable price
