I have a 3Ds and still don't use the 3D... you don't even notice it after awhile.. while your eye strain does, but the 3d effect diminishes after about a half an hour of constant use.. i thnk the best practice for it is to use it during short cinimatics, and the turn it off during regular gamely.. keeps it fresh
