It’s truly remarkable that not only was this game sold at a price point of $60, but that people actually bought it.

He never said it wasn’t popular, just boring to watch in comparison to other popular American sports, which (in America at least) most people would agree with that statement.

Yes, but this man has also played literally THOUSANDS of other games. So playing 500 hours of any one game is impressive if you consider that.

Bought one of these three years ago and still use it today. It’s great. I definitely recommend picking these up if you have 2 monitors but are cramped on desk space.

This has been somewhat of a daily ritual for me. Wake up, check out Kotaku. Look for Brian’s JPGs post. Is it Japanese? OF COURSE. Did MasterKontender and MxGxPx post about it? YES. Does Brian listen? Find out tomorrow...

I’m sure wherever you’re from has an immaculate history.

I honestly get more out of the comments section of these every day than the actual photo. The comment section on these are always hilarious. I’m beginning to think that it’s better that Brian continues to pick mundane pictures of Japan so I can continue to get a laugh every morning.

Hahaha, right!?

Seriously. I, as well as many others agree. However, I’m very positive Brian NEVER reads the comment section on these.

Wow, what a surprise. ANOTHER Tokyo post. I truly don’t know why this annoys me so much. I know it’s irrational, but I also know I’m not the only one.

That’s understandable, and it’s great that you get something out of it. I’m not saying I don’t find Japanese culture or architecture interesting, I like it. I really do. It’s just that variety would be appreciated. The audience of this website is worldwide (largely based in NA), so I find it odd that a user submitted

Seriously. If you’re only gonna post pictures of Japan (average ones at that) then at least change the name of the series. It’s advertised as a “peek into wherever gamers find interesting”, yet by the looks of things, gamers are only interested in Tokyo and Japanese temples. I would seriously like this series a lot

Fair point.

Yeah, I knew Brian lived in Osaka, but I was mainly wondering what he specifically looked for in submissions. I live in Rhode Island (US), and I would love to submit some of my own photos from here in New England, but I’d like to know whether or not I would be wasting my time in doing so.

Just out of curiosity, do you prefer photos of Asian landscapes/culture, or is it that you only get photos submitted from these locations? If I’m not mistaken, something like 19 of the last 20 photos displayed on Kotaku are from Asian countries (something like 15 of them from Japan specifically). Are people from
