Yes. I usually use them on different days though. Just switch between the two. Fair warning though that in the beginning your skin will be red and irritated. Retin A and tretonin take time for your skin to adjust to.

Yes, the 4% is the standard prescription strength. It is called hydroquinone. If they sell other concentrations, I wasn’t aware of that. If you are looking for “walk in to a dermatologist” they would prescribe 4%. Any more is not something I would recommend and any less is something that is sold in every drugstore…
