I’ll admit right off that what i’m about to say is anecdotal but I’ve met “Cool Girl” on more than one occasion and she often said “let’s not put a label on it” and through my (again,admitted acedotal) experience it just mean untill she tells you that she loves you then hates you for not feeling the same way...

It’s all under the surface.
