I think it was in Double Dash (maybe Mario Kart Wii too) but if you managed to hang on to a mushroom while in first place, you could boost out of the way at the right time to avoid the blue shell. Anyone know if that still holds in MK7?

I think you should go for it. My friend had a PS2 that read PS1 games and some PS2 games (he called it the PS 1 1/2). He gave it to me and I went out on a limb and opened it up to clean and re-adjust the laser. I now own a free PS2. Worst case you can get another PS2 for like $50.

Naughty Dog, if you ever make another Uncharted game, I would like one moment in the game where Drake walks across a bridge and it DOESN'T break.
