In journalism, a hot take is a “piece of deliberately provocative commentary that is based almost entirely on shallow moralizing” in response to a news story, “usually written on tight deadlines with little research or reporting, and even less thought”.

I think there is absolutely no issue with marketing to specific tastes. This just means not all Anime (insert art of your choice) will appeal in the same way to every person. The issues arise, as usual, in the details. Is there blatant sexualizing of children? Is any of it taken to an extreme that systematically

Yes, he says, all men should be penetrated at some point. And not as in emotions. He means: All men should be fucked. “I think it would help them understand women,” he argues. “It’s such a vulnerable position to be in, and it’s such a passive position to be in. And there’s such an invasion, in a way, that even if

Just about any unmanaged gigabit switch will do the job with little to no fuss.

I cringed a bit at how you sort-of characterized Latin American immigrants as having an intrinsic market value. It’s like you’re describing live stock.

Just wait until she hears about where all of the various human tribes originated. I’m sure that will cost her some sleep.

Are saying is that it will undoubtedly be more difficult to control on consoles versus PC?! How... unusual...

Also you want people to press down the right stick each time they want to zoom? Considering you have it mapped to either movement or aim, that’s an absolutely terrible idea as each time you zoom in it will knock your aim off.

2018 is too damn far away!

work long enough with heavy machinery and you’ll know they have a tendency to break down at the least welcome time.

yeah thats not a marxist concept.

I don’t really know. I know a lot of people tend to look at history and assume that we’re in this huge bubble that just keeps inflating and has to eventually pop (as it, apparently, always has in the past)... but... really... we find ourselves in a place objectively unlike any other in all of recorded history in a

? I’m not sure what you mean. We seem to be gleefully marching towards a future where there are no “wages” because human labor has no real value.

What worth could a human life have, in economic terms, besides labor (in it’s various forms, including creative and intellectual)? Can you think of something even theoretically?! I can’t.

The summation of your point seems to be, “we’re fucked”. It would probably take some of that “extraordinary force and violence” you

We will sooner see massive die-offs from starvation and population coming in check from massive wars, than we will this utopian idea of everyone lazing about while robots do all the work.

How is that a solution?! I’m speaking of a a plausible future where human labor has no value but we’re more than able (through more and more efficient automation) to produce enough of everything for any conceivable number of humans. There just won’t be many that can buy any of it.

I mean... I don’t see how a future

Right... but an inevitable outcome of the technological age seems to be the complete devaluing of human labor (in every form). What happens to human beings when they have nothing to exchange for money?! That is an extremely plausible near future reality. We can see it happening industry by industry with no clear signs

Money, at least in principal, only has the value you choose to give it. I just wonder how we deal with a future in which humans are the least desirable form of nearly every kind of labor. Do we invent wholly unnecessary jobs and pay them for that or do we let them do what ever the heck they want and pay them the same.

I think people are finally starting to grasp why Blue Collar jobs are really disappearing and why they are never really come back. We’re not so far off from a future in which human labor is the least desirable and most expensive form of labor in essentially every industry.
