Brands don’t create things, people do. Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky are two of the original creators of Fallout, which they made while working at Interplay. They’re both now at Obsidian and leading development on The Outer Worlds.

This game (and its support) is so fucked up that at this point I would expect the replacement bags to be shipped filled with asbestos and broken glass.

The US military, from what I understand, encourages *more* autonomy within the confines of mission parameters than other military doctrines. For instance, the US was loathe to adopt assault rifle equivalent to the AK-47 (intermediate power/high rate of fire) until well into the Vietnam War, choosing the M-14 instead,

Oh, man, the surrender option has saved my clumsy ass so much on bounties from running into folks with my horse!

We do our best to just treat them like we would any other publisher. Any time I’m going to run a report like this, I’ll always ask the relevant parties for comment. Sure, Bethesda hasn’t responded in nearly five years, but that doesn’t mean we’re gonna stop asking. Let the onus be on them.

The one on Starfox is the most poignant to me—our top score was both of us, playing our best levels. Every time I see that file I think of dad

Listen, and understand! Preston Garvey is out there! He can’t be bargained with. He can’t be reasoned with. He doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And he absolutely will not stop, ever, until you help that settlement!

this guy really looks like luke skywalker, though - just add a beard.

This was my motto during Thanksgiving.

I spent six years working at a Lowe’s (paid my bar tabs through college and part of law school), and a lot of this is good advice. Some minor additions:

Before I stopped, we had a decent portion of the local police force playing after introducing them to the game.

One of the core reasons I will never forget my fifth grade teacher in the 80's. She had everyone in the class play D&D...everyday. She weaved every course into that game. Math [We learned almost every concept in fifth grade math curricula by D&D references], Writing [We had to write our own narratives for adventures
