The impression I get from this is that it’s basically all the less-fun parts of animal crossing (the grinding and busywork) with none of the charming payoff that makes Animal Crossing what it is.

If that’s so meaningless to her, why waste a tweet on it.

There’s a laughably wide gulf between “I’m not that poor” and Chrisy Tiegen. She’s a very successful model who also happens to be married to a very successful musician. Each of them alone is worth over $10 million.

Chrissy Teigen is worth approximately 10 million dollars. Assuming you have a very comfortable job and have a net worth of $100, 000, a $120 purchase for you would be comparatively 1/100th as much to her.

I think you’re confusing production with post-production. a movie is produced (the process of ‘making the movie’) when it’s filmed. post-production is when the movie is edited into a finished product.

there’s nazi everything, you can’t blame the furry fandom for that.

Please tell me how FMA didn’t have an out? They took the time to fly to Italy to get the rest right. He specifically said he PICKED a Japanese cast. he wasn’t forced to because of reasons.

the movie was filmed in Italy.

So, they chose convenience and appealing to the core audience. Same for Ghost in the Shell.

Or, is it possible that people might actually care what she has to say about Animal Crossing, and that by spending as much as she did she pushed the game to its limits, attempting to force out any hidden redeemable moments, and in acknowledging that it lacked any, finished her review with a genuinely humorous

To be fair, $120 to her is likely equivalent to the $0.10 I found behind the couch cushion this morning.

(he’s replying to a different comment, one equating this kid’s actions to a teenager putting a cat in a microwave, not mine)

Uuuuh, pretty sure Luke is not arguing for the suit, but against it.

You know what? The link says all I need to know about that case so I’ll pass on indulging my curiosity.

The case you cite is a criminal matter where as this is a matter of civil law, particularly contract law, rather than criminal law. It is one thing to be ‘responsible for your own actions’ but it is something else to attempt to sue someone for violating a contract that the terms of the contract itself stated a minor

People who use, let alone create/help create cheat software, are assholes

A friend of mine actually got her job at Riot this way. Early League Of Legend’s launcher UX was hot trash so she redesigned it for shits and giggles, and put her design up on her small blog. It somehow made its way to the LoL reddit front page and then she got a job offer within weeks.

Moral of the story is, always

It’s on the company for not verifying legal age, not on the parents for kid lying about it. Like how the kid or parents aren’t at fault if a kid gets served alcohol at a bar, the bar is the one at fault.

Since he’s not the legal age because he lied, all that means is now it’s all on the mother.

Which in part is why twitch is pushing their Bits system instead of using PayPal or something service.
