It’ll also get parents and adults thinking twice about buying M rated games for themselves because it costs more, and suddenly developers are incentivised to self-censor which is a detriment to free speech. Now this is just Rhode Island of course so it wouldn’t have any sort of far reaching impact, but if other states

I’m surprised to hear the ESA of all organizations is opposed to the post-mortem preservation of online games. Fan servers have existed almost as long as official developer servers and what harm have they done? Why not let museums and other preservationists keep multiplayer games alive as intended so long as they’re

This isn’t an advice column, it’s a rant about Windows. The article is titled “The Endless Quest,” not “How to.” And for what it’s worth he does mention some methods that most people probably haven’t tried before, and anyone who’s computer literate enough to at least guesstimate their way through complicated command

The thing that really pisses me off is that Windows will wake your computer up from hibernation too! Not sleep, but hibernation — de facto shutdown. About 1 out of every 4 times I try to hibernate my desktop it’ll hum back to life within a minute regardless of if I’m updated or not. About half the time it’ll do it

I played this game back in 2011 on the DS but it was probably late 2012 by the time I beat it because of all the grinding you had to do (I took a few multi-month breaks to be fair). But Istill LOVED the game and always wanted to go back for a second playthrough if it weren’t for the grinding, so this feature is

I get those every year. Always feels like a slap in the face: “Here! Go buy some games you wouldn’t normally buy or ever had plans to and give us money!” Of course this is then mentality behind all such gifts I’m sure, but at least let us choose which game to buy instead only choosing from a handful of old first party

I was excited when I read the headline, but at a rate of 1 coin per yen (and therefore 1 coin per penny in the states) my 700ish gold coins won’t net me very much. What does this mean for top tier My Nintendo rewards? They’re pretty useless now yeah, but if they ever DO get anything cool (like they have in Japan

I’m surprised these are selling well enough to pay for ESRB rating fee tbh

I’m glad to see Splatoon doing so well but also I wish it was up there with Mario Kart at least, it’s a really fantastic game. Just wish it had more to do offline; the single player was meh imo.

I mean don’t get me wrong: I’m glad the game exists because not a lot of classic style RPGs are being made these days, but they’re not so scarce that I have to settle. Square is competing with themselves here with Octopath Traveler; I enjoyed my time with Setsuna for what it’s worth, but in terms of pure

This isn’t for Windows Store apps, it’s for traditional x86 applications (i.e. desktop Office, Photoshop, Steam games). I don’t really see this as useful for phones but in the future when it runs better it’ll be great for high-end Chromebooks that run Android apps.

Idk, FFXV was superb and for what it’s worth I had about a metric ton more fun with the Octopath demo than I did in the 10 or so hours I sank into I Am Setsuna before giving up. Square’s still got some fight left I think.

Lost Sphere isn’t a sequel to I Am Setsuna though, it SHOULD feel a bit more disconnected imo! Also reskined enemies =\= recurring enemies

Underrated comment!

I like what he was going for but someone should’ve photoshopped the eyes out before printing imo

This was so surreal to watch...

Ugandan Sonic seemed like a pretty nice guy though ^^

Honestly if they just got rid of the damn full screen pops-ups (“The article will be available in 5... 4... 3...”) every time you load a page I’d be fine. 99% of the time the ad doesn’t even finish loading before the timer clocks out and I exit so that makes it doubly pointless and obtrusive!

Wow those 3DS numbers are pretty impressive given how dead in the water it was when it first arrived everywhere else. Makes you wonder why Sony gave up on the Vita when it clearly had the potential to still gangbusters in its own country.

Never got to play The World Ends With You or Dark Souls so definitely pumped for this!
