Pretty much exactly how I feel. I feel like I had gotten kind of fond of the show in a weird way, and totally would have watched a second season, but I wouldn’t really call this it good or say that I really enjoyed it because I was kind of annoyed at myself as I was watching it.

I wouldn’t necessarily go so far as to say I enjoyed it. But, I hated it less at the end than I did after the first couple of episodes. But, it was more because of the characters surrounding her than Sophia herself (even if I liked the actress).

tbh this feels like some sexism, as I love Sillicon Valley but you could make a lot of the same criticisms (and applaud the same things) about each of these shows’ first seasons (like, literally every episode of SV is STILL “richard has no idea what he is doing but damn he will work hard to do it and also here’s some

This show was not great but grew on me as I kept watching it (I don’t know why I do that, but that’s another story), but where would you even go after the first season anyway? The exciting part was watching her build her company and overcome adversity. Watching someone just RUN the day to day of a company sounds way

as well as Lana and Lilly Wachowski’s sci-fi drama Sense8

I mostly hated this show at the beginning but it got much better as it went on, and I agree about the message board episode, that shit was hilarious.

Oh come on, first Good Girls Revolt, now this? Can’t we have one career woman dramedy where people aren’t being, like, murdered or something?

One of my favorite episodes was the message board one. Cleverly done and smart.

I’m with you. I liked it, too. I think had it not been connected to Nasy Gal at all it would have been received better.

I liked Girlboss. :(

I liked it too and I really expected not to. Both Sophia the character and Sophia the real person are God awful assholes, but I thought there were moments of humanity (like between Sophia and the art student/his mom) and some genuinely laugh out loud scenes (like the one where she wakes up after surgery and is trying

~*faint whisper*~ i enjoyed it~~~

Still mad at Netflix about Sense8 and that bullshit statement they gave that they really, really tried to come up with a way to save it.

She’s always been that type of woman who “doesn’t have any girlfriends, all my friends are guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Color me not shocked.

Garfield wrote a mini-opera about how much he hates Mondays.

“Complicating matters, is that there has been talk about a boyfriend back home, and this idea that she would never have hooked up with him.”

Because he was just as wasted.

I actually know this because my ex-boyfriend is a defense attorney. Technically of you are a citizen of the US, you are still beholden to it’s laws when outside the country. This has been in place for like a century now in order to stop men from the US from being sex tourists or raping women in countries where it
