There’s an argument to be made for the entire current BMW performance lineup (outside the 2, which... it’s fine), but the iX is the greatest offender.

Every time I see one of these on the road I am absolutely shocked that someone would pay $60k for one of these god-awful ugly, bloated behemoths.
Didn’t y’all already do this?
My friend’s crackhead dad had a v-12 XJS I think it was, of a similar vintage, coupe.
Seems like an impending maintenance nightmare, and I don’t think the design has aged well. Paint seems tired and interior is just a step ahead of that (and dated even if it were in pristine shape).
The race shop I take my car to has another shop nearby that exclusively works on old British cars. Every time I’m there, there is a line of probably 15-20 XJSs of this vintage waiting in a row for their next round of life support. That doesn’t sound like a fun lifestyle to get into.
I know you’re aV-12 masochist advocate Bob but that underhood view scares the ever-living shit out of me. All the wiring, hoses, belts, etc... are 30+ years old. ND.
XJs Jags typically have low miles not because they’re babied but ‘cuz they never run No Dice at any price
I can’t imagine the thought process in which you decided that this article about human rights abuse needed to be turned into a slide show just to maximize your ad revenue profits. What is wrong with you?
LeVar is awesome and has been for a long time.
This is worth the watch.
100% of the target market for this car knows exactly what Black Ghost refers to.
Oh no I guess they will fail to sell all 300 of them because of their “classic marketing mistake”. Probably helps to read articles before you spout nonsense in the comments.
Ah yes -- the Bugatti playbook
Did you bother reading the article or just spout off nonsense. It’s named after a legendary street racer in Detroit that was known as the Black Ghost because he would race and then disappear because he locked the car away all week. It was a unique car thanks to its features and the mystique added from the story. It…
Yup. First pic that loaded totally summed it up. Note to staff: This is the kind of story that would be more than ok to use a slideshow for. A single slide slideshow. Other pics are unnecessary after that.
Headlights tell me all I need to know...
Needs the 4.0 and a more thorough understanding of what the rust is looking like.
I’d need to know more about what the seller means by rust treatment. Spraying bed liner onto already rusting metal doesn’t fix anything. It’s a massive no dice if you push on the coated underbody with a pencil and hear crackling noises.
I’m sorry.... but its just ugly. It looks like a doctored-up London taxi.
