What? And the ep didn’t happen on a Miami to Orlando flight?

Hmm... A single politician, deciding unilaterally what an entire industry can or cannot produce, with no regard to the actual market conditions?

So what else would you expect from American Hitler?

I keep imagining this Rolls plays “Rule, Brittania!” as it trundles around the park instead of that ding-ding-dong ice cream truck music that American trucks play and I assume the Brits do likewise.

Gas stations can also put a pre-authorization hold on your card:

Reminds me of the hefty battery I had to buy for the everyday car.  It had a 36 month warranty.  And it went kerblooey at 38 months, so “good” job on their part?

Selling dude is pretty proud of his price:

I’d agree with you up until about 3 years ago. Their new trucks are having a lot of engine failures, especially the Tundras since those have been out for about 3 years now, and we keep seeing bearing failures requiring engine replacement. It remains to be seen if this is a fluke with the specific engine or family of

Now you know how I feel. Except I’ve read the Dune books and why on Earth they ruined the flicks by casting Timmy C. just baffles me to no end. Since he comes across as such a fey weakling, I just cannot buy him being Paul Atreides and becoming Muad’dib.  Suspension of disbelief went kerblooey.

Given how Fury Road was one of the most overrated and dull flicks I’ve suffered through in years and how Furiosa isn’t burning up the box office, who cares?

If you’re in the UK, book a narrow boat tour for damn sure. Try to also see the engineering triumph known as the Standedge Tunnel if you’re in the Manchester area.

Probably Toyota despite their going whole hog with the hydrogen fuell cell “revolution”.

That’s fine, if you define “best” as bulletproof reliability above all else. Not everyone does.

While always bulletproof, they’ve had (have) a few clunkers; e.g. last gen Avalon, Venza(s), Busy Forks, and let their vehicles linger too long. It’s very hard to argue against them notwithstanding.

I’ve told this story before, but here goes again (certainly the cutest AND grossest thing on an airplane ever).

+1 for sure.

This looks like every ‘60s beach movie, so if you live in SoCal along the beach, offer $2500 less and have it shipped to you.

The 3SGTE engine in my MR2 Turbo is supposedly one of Toyota’s least reliable. Mine has a bit over 180,000 miles on it, about 90K of those I put on myself. It’s a 30 year old car and in the 20 years I’ve owned it pretty much the only thing I’ve had to do to it is replace ancient rubber hoses that go bad and leak

2nd this. I’ve never even bought a new one and they are the most trouble-free cars I’ve ever owned.
