Will the problems ever stop?” as you restore a car has been my overwhelming question.

Wow, you really come across like a demented social influencer trying his damnedest to tout a tape-and-badge job as it’s something special. It isn’t.

Racking up just highway miles and being a credit card money vehicle are usually good points in its favor. Kelly Blue Book shows the seller is right there for what these older Jags go for:

A stupefyingly expensive SF flick with an abstruse plot, so it’s sure to be a box-office bomb? All I see is a sequel to Cloud Atlas. That’s not a complimentary comparison.

Let’s suppose he sued the city for injuries and I was on the jury. He wouldn’t get a dime—live by the sword, die by the sword.

It’s been a while since I rode, but on the older ones I did ride, the factory brakes seemed fine for the ATV’s intended use case, i.e., going a lot slower than this on offroad trails. Yeah, you can easily hit the posted speed limit on a secondary road like this one, but if you’re a dumbass and forget that you’re not

ALL OF THIS!!! The guy was clearly not planning on stopping for the cops here. They never are. He was going to continue on this path, at this speed or faster, toward pedestrians. The driver here only received what he was about to dish out to another innocent person. Don’t feel bad for a second!!

I’m guessing the ATV guy planned on blowing past the cruiser and was not expecting to be cut off.  It is clear he did not plan on stopping and I am fine with what happened here.

That guy must have been hauling ass, too, because it looks like a really long site-line to the cop car.  Or do ATVs have crappy brakes?

Yes, a great choice. The Fiero added a terrific comic touch to F&F9:

You watch the tape and that self-centered jackass is really booking down the path. If he struck a pedestrian from behind at that speed, that person would be at least as injured as jackass ended up but he wouldn’t be scathed much due to the ATV taking most of the impact.

Yeah not the smartest move by the cop (wow a shocker) I’m not finding any sympathy for the asshole on the quad.

A lot of ATV and dirt bikers illegally ride on hiking/biking singletrack trails in my area. And I hope every single one of these bastards suffer the same fate, whether it’s caused by cops or not.

I’m normally on the ACAB side, but I’m really struggling to be displeased with what the cop did here.

The bureaucracy will be expanding to meet the needs of the expanding bureaucracy.

Survivalist thought process is the most rose-tinted.

You and I used the same metric in reference to the earlier article of 1.9B for the bridge. That just seems bonkers to me, but government and military spending is pretty much endless and can be inflated to mass amounts with no questions asked.

I have bad news for this plane. If civilization is engulfed in nuclear hellfire, the planes that would refuel this one, the fuel itself, and probably the pilots, went up in smoke too.

Oh yeah, lets give more federal money to Boeing.  They’ve certainly earned it.

I hang my head in embarrassment here, but only halfway.
