I have a question. What is going on with Angel’s wings? They look like they are made of fire now. He had feathers, then got razor blade wings, then back to feathers, then razors, then a time traveling WW3 came to the present with feather wings. Now they are fiery. Please explain. Thanks.

In the comics Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist have each been associated with the Defenders at different times but Trish “Patsy” Walker was a Defender longer than all of them. It would be nice if they threw this comic fan a bone, or rather some catnip by putting Hellcat on the show.

Yeah! Remco put out a whole mess of action figures based DC fantasy type characters. They did Warlord and some of his cast as well as the DC version of Hercules and Arak, Son of Thunder.

Science Fantasy is good. I’ve heard it referred to as Sword & Planet before as well. The genre encompasses John Carter of Mars, Carson of Venus, Flash Gordon, Marvel’s Killraven and DC’s The Warlord, and you could probably throw Star Wars in the mix too.

I kind of love this too.

I liked the Adrian Chase Vigilante better than the Punisher. Both similar, both in comics around the same time but I could relate to Chase more than I could Frank castle. The new version here has some call backs in the costume design so it seems to be in the same spirit. Looking forward to this one.

Wow! I never saw that one before. I have the Treasury Editions of 2001: a Space Odyssey by Kirby and two of the Star Wars ones. I’m on the hunt for Close Encounters now!

CE3K? What’s that one? I liked a lot of Marvels sci-fi and fantasy books in the 70's. DC kept pushing out their style of sf/fantasy too. Then you get the Warren books like Creepy, Eerie, Vampirella, and such. The 70's were a great time for genre lovers.

Right on. I see the yellow domino mask/eye make-up now. Gamora used to be more of a minty green opposed to the Hulky sap-green. She also used to wear a crazy Starlin fishnet number with a feather boa. Ohh, la, la.

The green lady with swords does look like Gamora but her clothes look kind of normalish. Is there any chance she is She-Hulk, just with swords? She is pretty muscular looking for Gamora.

Or maybe his real name is Azor Ahai?

Maybe it was Jonaerys

the Westerosi people tend to reuse names over and over again, especially the Targaryens with all the Aegons and Aerys and so on. We don’t know much about Rhaegar but he seems like he was a different sort of Targaryen from his father and more like Aegon the IV. Aegon had named a son after his best friend Sir Duncan The

If Jon is the son of Rhaegar, which I am sure he is, the name makes perfect sense. Jon Connington, the Griffin, was Rhaegars best friend. Jon would be named after him.

My 2 cents: Let Kevin Smith take a crack at the Defenders. Maybe just an episode or two. He has enough love fr the source material to do it justice and enough vision to put a unique twist on it.

I can understand the editorial decision to use Rhodey as a sacrificial lamb. His relationships with Tony and Carol made him the perfect character to emphasize the cost to the opposing sides. That said, it was an unfortunate decision and along with the death of She Hulk, one that will do more to incite more fan rage

The Dorne storyline is very disappointing. Some may call the Dorne chapters of the books”fluff” to pad out the story but I disagree. the Dorne storyline in the books is closely tied to Danaerys but since the show never really went all in with the Dorne characters, they are kind of useless. I almost wished they skipped

I like what you did there

I did a stint in the Navy on a Destroyer, stationed at Pearl Harbor. We had to escort an ocean going tug from Washington in some really rough seas almost the entire trip. I didn’t think it would make it. Every time a huge wave hit it would go completely under but then it would bob right back up. It was a slow trip but
