What was your take when Bernie campaign was accused of being sexist by Giulianna Di Lauro? Out of curiosity.
What was your take when Bernie campaign was accused of being sexist by Giulianna Di Lauro? Out of curiosity.
Fucking Bernie Bros. How dare they make working on Warren’s campaign team an unlivably racist, sexist nightmare. Assholes.
So your take is the disaster in Iowa was all just innocent bumbling, and anyone who detects active malice is a conspiracy nut who is hurting party unity? If I wanted that sort of centrist pablum I could get it at CNN or MSNBC.
It wasn’t planned out beforehand to rig it for Buttigieg, but the DNC DID plan for chaos, and the established power structure can take advantage of the chaos. They forced Tom Perez in as chair over Keith Ellison at the last minute, while telling us there’s no difference anyway. They struck down measures for election…
I may be mistaken, but I think your article left out 2 important points:
Bernie declares victory because he had more votes and the satellite sites were going to him. He organized people specifically for those sites. His team bussed them there and made sure they were able to get there when all of the other teams focused on the ‘bigger’ wins. He won the popular vote handily but with those…
You can keep finding things to get offended by or you could do something more productive. You have no idea if I am white and frankly it is none of your business. Doesn’t change the fact that you apparently can’t read.
At least in the popular press, I think a lot of European onlookers seem to have a better, more nuanced understanding of this, due in large part to their proximity to right-wing nationalism, seemingly without regard to political or cultural specifics. You just can’t look at places like the UK, France, Sweden, Italy,…
Do you know how to read? I never said it was diverse. I specifically noted that the initial comment you were responding to never said it was diverse. NO ONE SAID IOWA WAS DIVERSE. I also never said I was white. Go find something else to get offended by because no offense was intended.
The way I read it Lee Adama never suggested Iowa was diverse, just that Bernie picked up a large portion of the non-white vote. Which is true. Also true is that is where Joe Biden has been banking on picking up a lot of support, see what the other commenter said about South Carolina.
This is a weirdly offputting and dismissive way to go about this. Like parody levels of white ladying across the comments kind of stuff, to the point of reading more like disingenous trolling than anything else.
The big thing about being the “firsts” in anything is that they may not necessarily be the best for that time, or if even they were; continue to be for a length of time.
That is how you end up with Hillary Clinton. Who lost to a game show host.
The Democratic establishment playbook can be reduced to upper middle class interests. When they talk about candidates like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren being “unelectable,” they’ll say things like “he/she doesn’t appeal to people of color like Biden,” but when people of color don’t “fall in line” like they…
Uppities unwelcome...what, you thought something actually changed?
Seriously, imagine telling a Palestinian woman she can’t boo Hillary fucking Clinton of all people. Just incredible stuff.
““You realize you’d be nowhere without @HillaryClinton,” she wrote.”
It’s mind-numbing and triggering to see Rashida Tlaib getting steamrolled by white women like this. The hypocrisy is breath-taking.
Sander’s has consistently raised more money (than any candidate in the race) and polled higher than Warren. In what world does someone like that drop out?
the majority of bernie supporters voted for clinton and in higher rates than clinton ppl voted for obama in 2008. more of them defected to mccain than sanders voters went to trump. you are peddling a long-dispelled lie.
