The Hole In Things

Plus I live in Canada. We get all the same movies and tv shows and don't have anywhere near the rate of shootings that the US does. So I question if this will actually have any influence.

I don’t doubt this is well-intentioned, but does anyone seriously believe that this is going to make a difference? That very special episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” on the importance of common-sense gun legislation isn’t going to flip a single vote in Congress.

Finally, no more shootouts in Apatow comedies!  Whew!

Hey you may wanna check what side the conservative Christians are on in this debate

Give her someone to be with if it advances the story, don’t just throw in a romance subplot for the sake of having a romance subplot.

When bigots are trying to outlaw life-saving medical treatment fortrans people, their existence is under attack. When we just experienced the deadliest year on record for trans people as far as hate crimes in the US, their existence is under attack. Objectively.

I really think Gervais is the kind of guy who does this material just because he knows it pisses people off. I think he sees it as no different than his jokes about religion or his jokes about celebrities. I truly believe that he doesn’t understand how, in this instance, he’s punching down against a group of people

Nobody’s saying the government should force him to be quiet, they’re using their free speech to call an asshole an asshole.

Ricky Gervais can say what he likes, we have the right to oppose it or JUST TURN THE CHANNEL!

You’re complaining about an article “regurgitating up a bunch of dumb talking points” which is reporting on a “comedian” who is ::checks notes:: regurgitating up a bunch of dumb talking points.

I’m getting tired of these articles being necessary. The fact that you’re complaining about articles calling out bigotry being

Holy moly I’m not sure there’ll be enough crow to feed the entire internet when this thing makes more money than god.

Victory Project? So it’s not a movie about the New York Knicks.

Rude = your wildly misleading headline.

So she’s been ducking the process server. That’s the only logical conclusion to this story.

So this is a crappy thing to have happen, but having worked in a law firm before, I cannot imagine that this was the first attempt to serve her. A process server is not going to go to this much trouble when they could just walk up to their front door.

Doesn’t anyone think about the poor process server here? Maybe she had other stuff to do, or a loved one had been Taken, or she really had to take a shit so she tossed it in the general direction Wilde and bailed.

Mansplaining to a female attorney! You're a real ally!

Well, you see the narrative is that Ms. Wilde, who has toiled in obscurity for decades, was finally getting some recognition by the film industry’s most prestigious and well-known venue, the Las Vegas CinemaCon. Mr. Sudeikis seethed with jealousy over Ms. Wilde’s success and the success of Strong Women everywhere.

How about don’t fucking cheat on your spouse in the first place? TF kind of take is this anyway.

OK, so long as this thing is in vogue.

Marvel, just hear me out. Replace Harry Styles with Jason Sudekis for Starfox.
