HOW DID WE GET IN THIS SITUATION!?

How did Hulu’s new Hillary Clinton docuseries get such great access?

There is not a single Democratic candidate for President who is not a better alternative to Donal Trump. Not a single one.

I don’t think being an old man is automatically disqualifying.

If you wanna support the fascist reality show host you can, I’m just saying that viability is subjective.

The current President is Donald Trump.

But it’s not necessary to try and destroy the reputation of the other candidates in the process

You’re claiming that media outlets that are in NO DANGER from anything Sanders would do are still hugely biased against him, because he’s marketed himself as a socialist. This 1. Paints media politics professionals as very stupid when it comes to politics, which isn’t realistic or true, and 2. Doesn’t even make

Or maybe this whole “capitalism vs. socialism” thing is a stupid false binary

Admittedly, it’s just sort of a sense I’ve gotten. Tulsi supporters just kind of strike me as people who hate the establishment but don’t really have committed leftist principles. I mean, one of her most prominent online supporters has been Jimmy Dore, who seems like kind of a crank to me and is supporting her after

I thought the aside was unnecessarily disparaging and I responded to it. I don’t think that makes me “obsessive” or “whiny.”

I already addressed this. You’re overstating this (plenty of mainstream media sources, like the ones I listed, are not owned by conglomerates), and you’re not putting any nuance towards ACTUAL POLICIES, like it’s just they’re threatened by the word socialism.

Saying that people who object to the “Bernie Bro” narrative automatically prove it correct is a logical fallacy. The sketch in question conflated “Bernie Bros” with misogynist, white supremacist trolls on 4chan and implied that Sanders encourages toxic behavior. I think supporters have a right to push back on that.

I am focusing on what matters, that’s why I support Bernie.

none of his “socialism” (such as it is) would do anything to hurt outlets like the New York Times or Reuters or NPR or the Guardian or whatever, so that narrative doesn’t make sense for them, I can’t see any reason to believe he’d do anything to touch them.

What I’m arguing is that Bernie supporters aren’t uniquely toxic, but the media acts as if they are. I don’t see how that’s a difficult point to understand.

I’m saying that toxic supporters aren’t unique to the Sanders campaign, yet only his supporters have been singled out by the media.

It’s not “whataboutism.” My point is that other candidates have toxic supporters, but there isn’t a an obsessive media narrative about how their supporters are bad and the candidate is responsible for it. The focus on Sanders supporters is a strawman.

Part of the problem with this whole thing is that some Sanders fans appear to have a black-and-white narrative where it’s pure Bernie vs. Evil Corporate Corrupt Everyone Else.

Kind of, yeah.
