A part of me thinks it’s because they’re afraid the DCEU’s Deathstroke can’t live up to Manu Bennett.

Maul didn’t get a chance to do much, but I think that’s more of a problem with Lucas’s storytelling decisions than the character. He was one of the better parts of The Phantom Menace and he’s pretty awesome on Clone Wars and Rebels.

I agree that the problem was more with the subplot than her, although the part where she stopped Finn from sacrificing himself and kissed him was kinda stupid.

Eh, I don’t really mind it. As far as ridiculous Star Wars names go, there are far more egregious examples. Plus, I think Bane is cool enough regardless of his name being slightly on the nose.

Boba Fett is alright but Cad Bane is way cooler.
