They came up with a pretty easy way to check. I doubt they could screw it up.

Isn’t skin color pretty self evident? I think that would be redundant.

You’re thinking of the ruthless corporate overlords at Chotchkie’s.

Good catch Grammar Nazi!

Somebody likes Popeye’s.

Not sure why explaining how supply and demand works is whining but call it that if it makes you feel. Is it my fault you don’t like the way supply and demand works? No? No, didn’t think so, good.

We may disagree but you’re cute. Thanks for the motivation. Have a great weekend! Hope you have something fun planned.

The market for labor is influenced by variable demand for the product but the impact on wages depends largely on the supply of labor.

You said it yourself. “Most of the time you take the job available....” Take being the operative word.

It’s not up for debate, people like burgers. The demand for burgers is there.

Good luck with your business!

You took the conversation about supplier contracts and turned in a completely different direction. If that’s not a tangent you have to explain yourself better.

It’s supposed to sound like that. I’m mimicking language used in other responses and taking it to an extreme. Unwad your panties and relax.

The supplier could make even more by selling to you and HD. Which it would. They just wouldn’t sell you goods already headed to HD, they’d sell you other goods. Don’t worry dawg, you can get your’s and pay as much of a premium as you want.

Come on homie, the supplier willingly entered into the contract. The government didn’t force them to. It’s like this home slice; if the supplier wants to make more profit they’ll produce more and sell to you and Home Depot.

Companies the size of Home Depot have contracts with their suppliers. Those contracts usually require delivery.

Contracts are still binding in a free market. Is the cost of protecting good not included in the shipping cost? Or do you suggest companies hire guards to literally ride shotgun?

Not necessarily. Ownership of the goods would be outlined in a contract between Home Depot and the supplier. If the terms are FOB shipping point (most common) the goods belong to Home Depot as soon as they leave the supplier. If the terms are FOB destination ownership transfers when delivered to Home Depot. Assuming

It’s good to have 1st world problems.

Saying “intercepting” is misleading. Intercept implies you are preventing products, already sold to Home Depot, from getting to Home Depot. If you can work a deal out with the supplier to buy products that’s copacetic brah. More power to you.
