You couldn’t read 2 words past the part you quoted? My comment is specific to this tax. True, there’re may ways to fight rising housing prices. A tax on head count is not 1 of the good ways. Every job that leaves or does not come to the city costs it a lot more than $275.

The only way this tax lowers housing costs is by causing jobs to be relocated and lowering demand for housing in the city. That’s bad economics.
