The idea that a little snark from a developer would prompt people to spend days harassing people and going so far as to create fake media in an attempt to ruin them is absurd.

The games community needs to accept something. There is a rampant entitlement problem that is deeply seeded in rage, sexism, racism, homophobia

If you bought literally anything on the internet this argument is moot. Your debt card information is statistically already compromised and sitting on a server somewhere.

Also do you pitch this kinda fit when the grocery store you’re at doesn’t have your favorite flavor of potato chips? Do you walk into an apple store

Still trying to wrap my head around the idea that someone would pay a subscription for mobile games.

Also has anybody noticed how “cord cutting” is dead? We all have 4/5 subscription services that probably total out to a basic cable package. Furthermore if you want the really good networks and shows you need a cable

That women archer illustration is awesome.

I can appreciate that but there seems to be this general vibe that this is somehow a bad illustration a la Rob Liefeld or something and I just disagree. The helmet on the hip thing and the high heels are poor choice - I get it but if your front line for media representation is some guy’s doodle of Samaus I think a

Contrarian Counterpoint to all these upset comments: Its nice to Samus’s femininity artfully celebrated instead of being downplayed as just a curious aside about the character. The metroid narrative as a whole benefits from the central protagonist being female in a significant way. The Sci-Fi high heels are a bit much

I gotta say I agree. We’ve got a pretty saturated market. I’ve got a list of RPGs that would keep me busy for months if not years. Especially now that like; ya know, I’m an adult and can’t spend 7+ hours a day cranking through my games.

So any illustration that even mildly resembles an analogous human being an anime now?

This whole “realism” argument rubs me the wrong way. Nothing about Mordhau’s gameplay is realistic. The setting is inspired by the medieval time period at best. It’s a fun, goofy and violent game. It just seems that anytime there is a game that has a theme/setting remotely like this, it gets co-opted by Alt-right

It’s getting to the point that any game that has a medieval setting gets co-opted buy /pol/

Bruh that Titanfall 2 run was fuggin bananas foster. Manipulated the movement is such absurd ways, good commentary too.

Memes aside this is a great reminder to follow your dreams and never be impressed when someone tries to brag to you about where they’ve been published.

Yeah I’m a pretty big CDPR fan; sins and all, and from what I can gather the Witcher 3 dev cycle was rough on all parties involved.

Nobody needs to live like this.

This is streaming culture in a nutshell. I find this whole thing hilarious.

“fuck off nerd” he said defending his internet daddy on a video game website. LMAO thanks for the chuckle you piece of incel trash.

Clearly you’ve never held a job in a broadcast station or worked in a marketing department or for a radio station. Sit down.

Ubi does exploration well and it’s nice to see them experimenting with different themes on a form they do really well. The last few Ghost Recons; while technically impressive, really didn’t leave that much of an impression on me. Imagine if the studio took all their design sensibilities for exploration and made a

Yeah, you can’t film inside bathrooms. This is known. What a schmuck.

Man, I’m so glad I went to broadcasting school, studied journalism, 1st amendment and FCC law just to get out-stripped by problematic man-children who yell at video games. Feels great man.

If someone who signs your paychecks asks you to do something, its not a request. This is labor organizing 101.
