I should have said that you know approximately which way the wind is blowing. To see the windsock you have to already be at the airport. If you know that, say, runway 15 is the active runway, you know the wind is blowing approximately from the south and that you should approach the airport from the north.
For one thing, the magnetic pole would have to shift 5 to 10 degrees for it to be enough to change the number. That’s not likely.

Depends on the state you’re in. Some states have no emissions requirements at all and some have no emissions requirements for diesels. If you live in a state like that, keep it and drive on. If you move to a state that does have emissions requirements then you’ll be screwed because I think there’s a deadline to get…
