I’m on chapter 3 of Death Stranding, but I’ve slown down a bit. I showed a friend it who wanted to see it from the beginning so I have a separate save for them, then my dad wanted to see it and he’s surprisingly really enjoyed it so far. I’m ready to graduate from delivering to the generic dudes and get to some of

For a brief time, I got into the original Modern Warfare. I’d finished up Call of Duty 2 (which I loved) and Call of Duty 3 (which was bafflingly different) and was told that Modern Warfare was more akin to CoD2. I played through the single-player campaign, almost completed it on the highest difficulty, and played a

Short and sweet recap this week: slowly finishing the post-game stuff in my second playthrough of Final Fantasy XV, and slowly ramping up my side-questing in my second playthrough of God of War. I’m wondering if I’ll get any new tidbits of story in NG+, but it’s not like I’m bored playing through the game again. Just

I spent 20 minutes writing a response and lost it to the depths of Kinja, so I’ll keep it short:

Taking a break from Borderlands 3 to play something a bit more story heavy so I’ve been continuing my trip down memory lane with Fallout: New Vegas- going NCR all the way with a rough and tumble tribal turned courier that despises the Legion. My policy of shooting Legion soldiers on site kind of backfired in the level

I was expecting this article to about *why* COD’s campaign gave into fear, so I’ll have a go. It’s bold and shocking and provocative, sure, with plenty of moments that highlight the horror of war, but it all feels depoliticized, and actually a little conservative if I’m honest. The first Modern Warfare was decidedly

I recently picked up Frostpunk again after a while away. When it first came out, I played it a lot and ended up getting most of the trophies, survival mode trophies not included. I decided to just play through the campaign again on normal since it’s been so long. That may have been a mistake as it’s quite easy (though

Hello, everyone! Not able to pop in often, but wanted to share where I am and what may be in store this weekend for “Initial D(L)“.

Not to be pedantic, but in that title shouldn’t “gives into fear” instead read “gives in to fear” with a word space? Because ‘gives in’ is a term with a quite different meaning from ‘gives’.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is getting mostly great reviews and will hopefully send a message to EA executives. Single player games without loot boxes can be good, popular, and sell well. So happy for Respawn, one of the best studios in the business right now. Perhaps Disney will give them a mandate if this sells as

I’m gonna try to finish up Death Stranding this weekend. Loving it so far

So I’m in the final mission of Control by Remedy Studios and it sucks that this game flopped. Control is one of the best designed games of 2019 and it’d put it alongside the likes of Outer Worlds and RE2Make as the best games of the year. It has a lot of things I like: Lovecraftian influences, Max Payne gameplay

Been playing a lot of Red Dead 2.  Its singleplayer has aged like wine in the year since its release.  The multiplayer has also improved and isn't lame GTAO in the West.  I'm not quite sure how Rockstar can top this but I've been wrong before.

I’ve not really figured out what to play since I beat Disco Elysium. This has happened before, and it will happen again - a transcendent experience makes it hard for anything to compare for quite a while. Still, it’s kind of annoying. I started to get back into Slay the Spire, but that’s more of a “game to play at

I bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, my first CoD ever, and have been enjoying the multi-player a lot. There’s so many different modes that change the goal and style up, it’s a lot different from when I played Unreal Tournament and the like. I was also really excited for the co-op but those missions feel like

hahahahaha~! That clip was fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing that.

I have yet to join the current gen (and wont, i’m skipping direct to next gen and will have a 6 year backlog of PS+ games to play)....thus, i just started Wallenstein on PS3 yesterday and suppose I’ll be playing it for awhile (I only get 2 to 3 hours of gaming in per week...thus still on PS3 backlog :) )

This Weekend: I have an 18-hour flight today, which means LUIGI’S MANSION 3. Also, some reading and stuff, I guess.
