@James Henderson: No, I think gamers know it as Natal. Soccer moms, the Hannah Montana audience, and the large proportion of wii owners probably don't know of it at all. Considering that's Microsoft's target audience with this, I doubt a name change would hurt it.

I don't think the problem with Halo's story is the archetypal characters so much as it is all the missed oppurtunities to give the player an emotional attachment to the characters and events. Halo:CE sort of got it, by hinting at a bigger picture - perhaps an allegory to the fatalistic nature of war? Kinda. Halo 2

This is the way they were sold over Zune. That's how I bought them. Now I don't have to get up to go to my PC.

@NewSpecies: I'm not sure about that. I think that a next-gen game console could make use of them, since a game is probably the only thing that would ever need that kind of room.

@symphonycometh: SA2 was 2/3 terrible. Playing as Tails, Eggman, Knuckles and Rouge was about the most painful thing I've been through in all my years of gaming.

The fans know the Master Cheif was a hollow shell, merely a vessel to get the player to soldier on. Now the game has a rich, epic and very human story. This will be the biggest, best selling game in Halo history.

Aren't all littlebigplanet costumes ugly?

@Jstas has gas!: Everything in your argument is 100% wrong, aside from a few numbers (which are applied in the wrong sense, anyway). When Japan has US dollars, those dollars must flow and are eventually exchanged for American investments, since that's the only place where US dollars are of any actual value. The united

@Jstas has gas!: Employees spend money in the US. Toyota has US dollars which must be exchanged before anything productive happens. In essence, Japan buys US investments and goods. Your mercantalism is pretty flawed, bro.

I own a both a 20GB Xbox 360 without HDMI and an Elite from this past Christmas. I've had two xbox 360's die, one from a broken lens and one from RROD. I own a PS3 80GB with backwards compatibility.

Does it feature real people? No. Is there a victim of cartoon kiddy porn? No. So the Japanese gov't wants to violate a natural right and people are cool with this. Disgusting. All this legislation iwll do is push it underground and raise transaction costs and risk, making it more expensive and dangerous for parties

Didn't MS charge 10 dollars for 3 maps? That's technically more money. I mean $3.33/map $3.00/map.

@L3G10N: "The best-selling Xbox 360 game of all-time just got bigger, with more epic multiplayer content, first on Xbox LIVE! The Stimulus Package delivers 5 additional action-packed multiplayer maps "

Can we have snow please? Rallisport on the Xbox was pretty good. I bet Codemasters could make something like that even better.

@kyosen: Game attach ratio is probably the most important, since that actually indicates the sales viability of releasing a game on said console.

@mrantimatter: Scrap Metal and Twisted Metal? Seriously, is that the best he could do?

David Jaffe: Piece of shit.

I can attest to this. The video is over-compressed, the hair and some other renderings look god-awful. Doesn't matter, the storytelling is atrocious.

@Aquatrez: How else would you classify FFXIII?

I'm not worried. Open-world games have a lot of bugs, I'd like many of them to be crushed before I play.
