For new games yes. I buy almost only digital now on my Xbox One and those weekly sales can be ridiculous with their discounts. Like more in the 20-40 dollar range, sometimes within the first month of a major AAA release.

I think it is part that they know they are soon going to be unnecessary. Digital downloads are leaping forward in market share and you can always Amazon a physical copy and have it waiting at your house on day one.

I completely buy this, they are insane about those percentages. Worked there for a few years and we had to hit so many pre-orders a day, so many card subscriptions a day and even several years ago your job could be in trouble if you screwed around too much with that.
