When EA purchased Bioware in 2007 I knew terrible things were on the horizon. I think we all did - sister company Pandemic didn’t last long under EA rule. Carefully crafted RPGs don’t seem to do well with corporate overlords on a long enough timeline. Live services don’t go well with the introverted nerd trope anyway.

This is the tale of every good guy who got into a relationship too early.

There’s no way to test this statement. There’s no way to see what games with easy modes would have looked like had they not wasted the resources on re-balancing for non-hacker easy mode folks.

This is why I’m just playing through the Soulsborne games again before going further back in time to play complete classics that are... complete.  I don’t like my entertainment dictating my schedule.

Plenty of Day One Xbox Ones had faulty disc drives (mine included). Their power bricks are also infamously unreliable. No sarcasm needed.

This reminded me of the “No Hopers” trash can in the rankings at the end.  Sonic shoes and a Groovy Earthworm Jim blaster.  Glad Earthworm Jim was big enough to get Rares attention. Loved the first two.
