The microtransactions aren’t as micro as the name suggests though. They could sell all of this significantly cheaper and still be able to support further development and support. GTAV brought in over $6 billion in revenue. That certainly eclipses the costs associated with supporting it over the years by many factors.

Agreed! Sicario 2 was pretty enjoyable, if not as remarkable as the original. It’s a tonally bad sequel, but a decent movie.

He can say what he wants. He has big sponsors that want to control his branding and he likes the money. That’s what is going on.  There was no moral reckoning.

I have some of the best coverage available in the states. That being said, it costs my employer darn near 48k annually to keep my family covered.

Legally subverting the system is not only realistic, but effective and - perhaps more importantly - repeatable.

On a long enough timeline, we’ll be removing all design and art from the world for fear of offending.
