Everyone knows the true earthling tribbles are guinea pigs.

That is the trouble with tribbles...

*trill* *purr* *KLINGON SCREEEEEECH*

This is my shocked face.

Remember this when you’re trapped in coach traveling from the molybdenum mines back to your pod in the Mawrth Vallis, and they run out of freeze-dried coffee.

Thank you for clarifying that we didn’t take a Chinook to a different earthlike planet for a photoshoot. (Everyone knows the lizard people only do that with Ospreys.)

Even Jared Leto?

You were so good at playing Jesus, the messiah, that I approve your ability to play me in a biopic.

You get them on Skodas now...very much the in thing.

“Hi.
“I’m Bucky.”

That made me smile. We haven’t seen that side of Bucky since “The First Avenger.”  I took it as a sign that Bucky, whether he realizes it or not, is truly back -- and he’s still got it.

I would watch a Northern Exposure spin off with Adam Arkin’s character being a complete dick to everyone.

I’m gonna disagree. It started as fish-out-of-water and the became a little utopia of oddballs. I watched for 3 seasons (seasons 1 & 2 were super truncated so 3 was the only full season) and by ‘92 it just sucked. I have never revisited the show since ... I remember the characters but could not recount even 1 story

if they do reboot can they’all just lose the invite for Janine ... she’s gone far rightie and preachy, and not like we really need to hear from another Texan with that kinda moronic take of everything.

The Janine Turner pivot really broke my heart. Alas.

The “fish out of water” concept has been done to death, before and after “Northern Exposure”. What set that show apart was the quality of the writing. No surprise that Joshua Brand, one of the lead writers was also a writer for “The Americans”, another excellent series.

You’re probably right.

Still waiting for that Northern Exposure reboot or reunion.

I drove significantly out of my way during a trip once to walk around Roslyn, Washington, the filming location for “Cicely, Alaska” in the TV show “Northern Exposure”. John Corbett had an excellent role in that show.

I don't have a library full of it I books, but I do have one or two from the 70s, mostly sightings in Wales. They are quite amusing.
